Women can be hoarders when it comes to their stuff, especially when that stuff’s lacy and came with a hefty price tag. Good undergarmeants are precious but everything has a life, sometimes things get shoved to the end of the closet rather than being thrown out. That’s why whenever we talk about lingerie, the first thing most women worry about is organization and managemeant. Women are always looking for new tips for their lingerie organization; this is one thing you can’t learn enough about. Honestly, there hasn’t been a perfect a system developed yet for your lingerie to be organized without error but if you’re looking for a few tips to get you to the error free lingerie organization, then this is just the thing you should be reading.
Throw out the Ratty
The first way to get started with organization is to throw away all the ‘trash’ in your lingerie. Whatever pieces in your drawer that isn’t in a perfectly wearable condition is absolutely of no use to you anymore. So start off with throwing away anything ratty, worn out, faded, discolored or threadbare, or anything with stretched elastic, holes or poking under wires. I know you love all your lingerie and it would probably kill you to throw any of it away but you must remember, your old lingerie is sort of destroying the new additions.
Diving into Piles
The next most important thing for you is dividing your entire lingerie, your entire remaining lingerie, into piles. You can make categories according to your own convenience but I use three categories: the frequently worn pile, the semi-frequently worn pile and finally, the never been worn pile (or worn one to two times and never again) These are the three basic categories that your lingerie needs to be divided in but you can have more categories depending upon your own needs and types of lingerie, you can come up with a sorting system that works best for you.
Donating your lingerie
Okay what I’m about to say is really going to hurt but you must know that it’s best for your lingerie and essential for the perfect lingerie organization. You have to donate the third category, the never worn pile. Donate it to whatever organization you want, wherever you want but just donate it. I choose to donate everything to non-profit organizations; you can choose The Salvation Army, the local battered women’s shelter or any other of your choice.
