The argumeant about whether or not lingerie is really more for men or women is not one that can be easily settled. After all, there are men out there who really like certain types of lingerie. On the other hand, there are women who feel sexier and more confident based on the type of underwear they happen to be wearing.

Don't Ask As A Whole

The main problem with this question is that it's asked of a sex as a whole. Do men like women who wear lace underwear? Do women prefer to wear simple, cotton underwear for comfort, or do they prefer satin underwear to feel sleek and sexy? The answers are yes, and no, and sometimes. Every individual has different likes and different tastes; the only way to find out is to ask that person what they like. This is sort of like asking someone what they want for Christmas; it might take a bit of the surprise out of things, but it does provide an answer straight from the source. For instance, if a man is thinking about getting his girlfriend some sexy lingerie, it's a good idea to find out if she would even wear it except to please him. For women it's also important to know whether a guy has a certain type of lingerie that just turns him on, or if he views underwear like Christmas wrapping; something pretty that's in between him and what he really wants.

Underwear choice can be a factor the same as confidence or hair color. Men aren't an alien species who all share a hive mind characteristic. Some men like tall women with good legs, others prefer petite women with full breasts. There are a lot of men out there who don't even find women sexually attractive, so it won't matter what a woman is wearing under her clothes. On the other hand there are a lot of men out there who prefer to see a woman dressed up in lace, or with a corset putting some of her best assets on display.
